Re: Hi! Pawpaw here.
There's no time like the present to start working toward that ham radio license! Seek out some local clubs, meet the folks, ask questions, and you'll be on the air in no time.

Re: A few things that have helped me consume less over time.
On the topic of new year resolutions, I subscribe to CGP Grey's theme system . Video explains why.
A couple of years ago, I did a Year of Less, and that was very positive for my spending habits and gear acquisition syndrome.
I also really like the minimalist philosophy (which is not the same as ...

Re: PeePeePie Use Linuk?
I disagree that Arch is the pinnacle or final destination of Linux distros. There are deep problems with Arch that the maintainers are unwilling to address. Re: I drawed a lil guy
I love it ! Especially in the animated button gif in your signature. What software did you use to make the gif?
Krita! It's a very neat little drawing program. Some of the controls are not entirely obvious, but it's not hard to figure out how to do something (most of the time) and bump into ...

I basically never draw anything but I will make pixel art for avatars and websites now and again.

Smartphone required to attend a concert
So I found out The Beths are touring this year and one of their stops is reasonably close to me, so I looked into getting tickets. The ticket prices were quite reasonable, but I stopped because I noticed a little message saying that in order to get in, I'd have to present a code (presumably QR code ...

CONES
I have made a new website for curating photos of traffic cones in unusual situations: https://cones.lol/
Yes it is silly. Yes @PossiblyAxolotl I do want to join the sillyring, but I don't have an 88x31 yet. :P

Re: In Search of a Dumbphone
Last time I looked, I was considering the Nokia 225 4G. If you can find one, they're reasonably cheap. Good luck in your search!

Re: Favorite Pens
As a fountain pen enjoyer, I must say the Pilot Precise V5 is the best non-fountain pen I've ever used. I am also a fan of the Pilot Frixion erasable pens because they're the only erasable pen I've seen that actually works. Very good for things like TTRPG character sheets that need frequent erasing ...
