Going to preface this by saying I have 0 experience with children, other than having a few young nephews and nieces and I entertain them, not teach them.
I'd say show them how they can have fun with technology, it's an important skill but supporting their learning through their interests is key ...

I have actually just made a booklet designed for this exact thing. It has a bunch of privacy tech you can use or learn to use based on how advanced you wanna go. I just posted it in a post before this. I hope it helps you, please give me any feedback on it if you do end up using it :)
