Re: I use arch, btw
I've been using Fedora Silverblue for about a year now and it suits my needs well enough. I chose Fedora mainly due to the semi-rolling release model (less prone to breakage than something like Arch, but it still gets frequent updates and a new GNOME version every six months), plus it's officially ...

Re: Decline in Invidious ‘related videos’
I use Invidious every now and then and I've noticed this too. I mostly use the yewtu.be instance, which is hosted in Germany, and most of the related videos I've seen recently were news/politics videos in German (I can't tell exactly what they were about though since I don't speak German). My guess ...

Re: Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2
In Galaxy 1 specifically I absolutely love the atmosphere in Space Junk, it's just so soothing and space-y. I'd say it's probably the first thing that comes to mind when I think about this game. In terms of gameplay/artistic direction Buoy Base is also hard to beat, you can tell the developers put ...

What's your usecase? Just being able to stream things to friends? Tabletop gaming?
Mostly streaming video games with friends. We usually talk over Signal but the screen share was choppy and the audio didn't seem to come through, same thing with other video conferencing software we tried ...

Discord, specifically for low-latency live streaming. I still haven't found any good alternatives that let me stream my desktop audio and video in real time on Linux.

Re: EDM and its many variants
The Minecraft soundtracks, oddly enough. I was never a huge Minecraft player or anything, I was initially into Boards of Canada and eventually discovered C418 since they both have a similar ambient-ish vibe. Volume Beta is still one of my favorite albums to this day.
C418 recently made the ...

Re: Introduce yourself!
Rain here, I'm a recent STEM graduate slowly getting used to life after school. I've known about Reject Convenience for a while now and started lurking here after the recent data brokers video blew up. Having spent a decent amount of time in online privacy/security circles I feel like those often ...
