I'm a musician, my main instrument is a 6 string fretless bass. I like fishing n tech n whatnot, I even have my GMRS radio license, and would one day like to have an amateur radio license. I'm not really used to forums, this is the first one i've ever meaningfully participated in, or skimmed through for fun, as opposed to in search of something, and it's quite refreshing and cool ^^. I'm excited to chat with the folks here and discuss stuff n things and whatnot!!

There's no time like the present to start working toward that ham radio license! Seek out some local clubs, meet the folks, ask questions, and you'll be on the air in no time.

Fair nuff! I'll look around for radio clubs, it seems like that's the advice that everyone gives. After all, the whole point of radio is communicating haha.
